It will take a few clicks, Dre1213. I'll walk you through integrating QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Time. 

 

Feel free to follow these steps:

  1. Launch QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Open the company file you want to integrate with QuickBooks Time and log in as the master admin. Then, ensure you're in a single-user mode.
  3. In QuickBooks Desktop, do one of the following:
    • (From the Home screenEnter Time, then select Activate QuickBooks Time.
    • Go to Customers, select Enter Time, then Activate QuickBooks Time.
    • Go to Employees, select Enter Time, then Activate QuickBooks Time.
  4. Click either Try QuickBooks Time for Free (new account) or Sign In (existing QuickBooks Time account).
  5. Log in with your Intuit credentials to begin your QuickBooks Time trial or enter your QuickBooks Time credentials.

Your QuickBooks Time account will display in a browser window on QuickBooks Desktop once the connection is complete.

When the "Activate Quickbooks Time" is selected, I then try to log in to my existing account.  It now shows two versions of my company?  Should only have one but it looks like the same up has occurred twice (based on this and the billing--2 receipts).  I select the first one and get this error message:  

Request Error

Non-QBD flavor 'qbia_online' is already installed
 
When selecting the second copy of the company, I get the following message:
 
Incompatible Company or Product
QuickBooks Time cannot be connected with the company and/or product you selected.
 
Need only one subscription for the company.  Need to be able to "Activate Quickbooks Time" correctly.

Let's make sure you'll be able to successfully integrate QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Time, dre1213.

 

It looks like the web connector add-on is still installed within QuickBooks Time, that's why you're getting the error. Let's uninstall the add-on first. To do this, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Time. 
  2. Go to Feature Add-Ons on the left menu. 
  3. Choose to Manage Add-Ons
  4. Uninstall the QuickBooks Desktop Integration

 

Once done, you can run the sync and reactivate QuickBooks Time. Here's how: 

  1. In QuickBooks Desktop, go to the Employees menu up top. 
  2. Click on Enter Time
  3. Select the Activate QB Time option.
