I am an administrator for QB Time and I also need to track my daily time.

How can I do enter my time as a user and still maintain administrator duties?

Good afternoon, @KSF1957! Thank you for coming to the Community. I'm happy to address your question about QB Time. :)

Anyone added into QuickBooks Time can track their hours and as an admin, you can customize permissions per team member. You have the ability to maintain your admin permissions in the account and also track your time.

Depending on your preference, you can enter your time in manually via the web or app, or clock in and out. Here's an article explaining the different ways you can do that: Track and manage time in QuickBooks Time.

If you need any further explanation or have questions, please reply to this post. All of us here are happy to help in any way we can!

Thank you for the information.  My issue is that as an administrator I am also part of the team where I too have to provide my time.  I am only able to record my time manually, which we prefer not to track in that manner.  Can I have two roles in TIME,  a team member and be an administrator?

Hello again, @KSF1957! Thank you for your prompt response. It sounds like you're wanting to track your hours in real-time and not manually.

If you're wanting to clock in and out and use a running time clock, you can do that as an administrator. There's no need for a separate profile. You can clock in either from our mobile app or on the web

Let me know if I'm missing something, and we'll figure out your options within QuickBooks Time. Look forward to hearing from you!
