Hi there, @Accounting2548. You’ve done a great job so far, and I’m here to help you get this sorted out.

Before we proceed, could you clarify where you deactivated your worker? Knowing if this was done in QuickBooks Online (QBO) or QuickBooks Time will help me guide you better.

If you make an employee inactive in QBO, their status automatically syncs to QuickBooks Time, moving them to the Archived tab with a deleted tag.

On the other hand, archiving a worker in QuickBooks Time only separates them there but doesn’t update their status in QBO, which can lead to duplicates and conflicting statuses.

To keep workers inactive across both platforms, I recommend making the change in QBO first so the status syncs correctly.

Also, to avoid duplicates and send invites smoothly, ensure there’s only one active profile per worker in QBO before syncing.

Please let me know if you have any questions or further concerns. I'm always here to help!
