Join nowI have a QBOA account and use TSheets that came with the account to log my time spent on Client projects. TSheets will not import my time into QBOA even though I have approved it. Here is the error message it get:
I am not an employee. Tsheets wants me to be linked as an employee. I don't want to be an employee of my own company and have to pay for payroll.
I called TSheets and they said the problem was on the QBOA side and I would have to call QB to get linked as an admin to TSheets so I can import time to QBOA.
I was on chat with a QB rep for a very long time and was finally told that it was TSheets and that I needed to call Customer Service and request a call back.
The request a call function tells me:
Something didn’t work
Can some one please tell me what i need to do to link my QBOA account with the provided TSheets account so I can import my time entries from TSheets to QBOA and bill my clients?
Thank you!

Hello there, @SusanJM.
I'm here to share some information about the integration of the QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) version with Tsheets.
The integration between TSheets and QBOA is indeed possible. The error message is just that there's nowhere to send this time because there isn't anyone in the employee list to link the time to. The proposed solution to add themselves as a vendor is correct, but does not require manual time transer. Once someone is added as a vendor, they'll be able to import their time from TSheets through the integration.
To import themselves into TSheets:
Note: All active vendors with a first and last name in QuickBooks will be imported into TSheets, but can be deactivated later if you do not need them to track time.
Once imported, you can approve the time in TSheets, and export it to QuickBooks.
I've included this article for your future reference in case you want to track your business financials: Run Reports in QuickBooks Online.
Please don't hesitate if you need further assistance with the process or if you have other questions. I'd be very glad to guide and help you through. Take care.

Thank you for the information and the confirmation that QBOA and TSheets do not integrate.
It would be helpful if the Intuit support reps were made aware of this fact which would save customers and customer support staff a considerable amount of time.
