Updating your QuickBooks Time mobile app shouldn't cause you to lose data. Since you're noticing missing data after performing an update, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary. They can also guide you through sending in device logs to help show what occurred.
