mobile app sync error - cannot log in

Hello, 

My Staff and I cannot log in to the mobile app for Quickbooks Time anymore. This started about 2 days ago.

This problem is happening on IOS and Android mobiles.

 

Please see images below.

When we try to log in the app tries to sync everything then crashes at the calendar sync then changes to the next screen. We have tried multiple times and it keeps happening.

I'd like to help and make sure you'll be able to access QuickBooks Time today.

 

There are different ways to . We can either use another way to sign in, or recover your account.

 

On your computer, you can follow these steps below to request one-time code to your phone number or email on file and sign in from there.

 

Like this:

 

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Time sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Email or User ID and tap Sign in.
  3. Choose Text a code to [phone number], or select Sign in a different way and choose to have a code texted or emailed to the contact info we have on file for you.
  4. Enter the code to sign in.

 

If you're not sure what information is associated with your QuickBooks Time account, we can proceed and retrieve your account. Here's an article for more information: Recover your account when you can't sign in.

Issues with logging into your QuickBooks Time mobile app can be fixed by making sure you have the latest version on QuickBooks Time.

 

Here's how to do it if you're using an Android device:

  1. Tap the Google Play Store icon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, then select My apps and games.
  3. Under INSTALLED, scroll down to the QuickBooks Time app, and tap UPDATE.
  4. Select ACCEPT to start the update, then OPEN.

Here's how to do it if you're using iPhone or iOS device:

  1. Tap the App Store icon, then select Updates.
  2. Scroll down to the QuickBooks Time app, and select UPDATE.
  3. When the update has finished installing, tap OPEN.

There are a few troubleshooting steps that could help resolve this issue you're having with your QuickBooks Time mobile app. These are the actions: 

 

  • Ensure that the app is up-to-date on your employees devices
  • We recommend uninstalling and reinstalling (only if your time has synced over to the dashboard or you have it wrote down somewhere)
