Once I schedule employees, can QBT be configured to require approval for OT before it shows up on the time sheet?

Let me provide some information about the approval process for overtime before it gets recorded on the timesheet in QuickBooks Time.

 

At this time, QuickBooks Time does not have the feature to require approval for overtime before it appears on the timesheet. However, you can set up overtime alerts to receive notifications for any unapproved overtime. If you want to enable this feature, you can follow these steps:

 

1. In QuickBooks Time, select Feature Add-ons and then choose Manage Add-ons.

2. Find Overtime Alerts and select Install.

3. Set up alerts by either using the listed sample alert scenarios Click here to set these sample alerts up for your account, and then select Done. Or create a custom alert rule by selecting Add Alert Rule, making your selections, saving it, and selecting Done.
