I have asked for on a number of occasions to have the phone number fields from QB online sync to be added to TSHEETS. It would save a lot of time and numerous mouse clicks to be able to see client phone numbers when an appointment is selected in the schedule... I will probably seek an alternative solution if this cannot be done pretty soon cause it is really annoying to have to go to QBO, Then click on Invoices>Customers>Search>find customer>click on details to see their phone number !!
Hi BF1961 , submit your feedback to Tsheets :
A work around to see customer phone in easier way: sales>customer>customer details in quickbooks.
Was this helpful?
Hello @BF1961, thank you for reaching out to us here at The Community, my name is Sherissa.
I would highly suggest posting a new idea to the Community Board as @gayatriluthfias20 suggested, I will also, from my end enter in a request as well to our Developers.
We cannot guarantee that it will happen nor happen any time soon since they do plan out their year fairly strategically.
In the meantime, I can suggest adding the Customer Phone # to the Schedule Notes so that you have them handy at any time.
I hope this helps and if you need anything else reach back out to us here at The Community!
Thank you for your help,
I have posted this as an idea twice and had chat sessions going back 12 mths now.
Have been looking at some good alternatives to Tsheets that solve the issue for me now.
Hello @BF1961, I have also submitted your request to our Dev Team, there is no Estimated timeframe for requests to be completed, but if/when it does roll out there is usually an announcement that is made and/or an email sent out to our Customers letting them know any/all changes!
I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you, I do still suggest adding the Customer Phone # to the Schedule Notes so that you or any Team Members have them handy at any time.
Again, I apologize for any inconvenience & I hope this helps, if you need anything else reach back out to us here at The Community!
I found this conversation while searching for the same answer.
There is not a scenario where a phone number is not needed as often as the address. In service you must be in contact with customers.
While yes we can copy and paste the phone number every time we schedule a call, but that would require opening QB and if doing this on a mobil device....you can imagine the pain. We can add the number to the address, but then we have to remove it in QB for billing!
This is supposed to be a linked app. add another box to sync queue.
I am getting calls daily telling me that their app has everything and is seamless. I don't want to go through another training and learning process.
Help us out!
Hello @jlclimate! Hope your week is going well, we made it to Friday. :)
Thank you for adding to this conversation. I've definitely come across this request before, so I'll also be giving this feedback to our developers. It really helps us understand why this is important and how it'll benefit our customers.
Please feel free to come back to the Community with any suggestions or questions. All of us are eager to help!
Just reminding quickbooks support that this very simple request has been continuously ignored for over 12 months now.....
Can we please have the customers phone numbers (direct and mobile number) included in the QBO import for QB Time? The numbers should be included in the schedule window detail when a scheduled appointment is selected in the schedule (detail appears on the right hand side of screen in the schedule window of Time.
It would allow team members to be able to call customers in advance of an appointment rather than having to access QBO to get the number... I feel like the more I request this the further down the que it gets put M8 and all of your competition do this . Doing this would save me at least 2 hours every month.
