QB Time Failed

No one wants a dramatic exit for any reason.

But I just want to make our situation known.

We have been having issues with QB Time for months.
The last 3-4 payroll periods I have had to call in and get assistance. Either the time won't transfer over to QB Desktop. Employees can't log in. I had one employee in my office for a good hour and a half with a QB Time rep and it did not fix anything. The rep was amazing, and did all she could. But ultimately, there was nothing that could be done to fix why this employee couldn't access his QB Time. Which they have been using since QB Time was T-Sheets, not 100% seamlessly, but at least useable.
Overtime will not auto-populate for new employees on QBD. Called in about that as well and have been told by two different rep's that everything is mapped correctly, so they don't know why it won't transfer. It has to be manually entered. We change a few things. And ultimately decide to wait until the next pay period to see if it works, because I am on a deadline to get payroll completed so the employees can be paid on time.
One rep 2 weeks ago had me start updating our QBT via "update web services". Then when I called in this last Monday, the rep had me go back to using the "sync QuickBooks Time" link. And still could not get time to transfer correctly. 30-45 minutes of changing system preferences, unapproving time, re-approving time, deleting time sheets. Just an endless circle that hasn't fixed anything, and information still had to be entered manually.

I've been told we will no longer be using QBT because of all these issues that cannot be fixed. It's a convenient program to have, when it works.
Back to paper we go.

QB Time Failed

Hi there, TBrazee0318.

Thank you for visiting again the QuickBooks Community. This isn't the kind of impression that I'd like you to have, and we know how much time it can take when something isn’t working the way you need it. With this, I'll be providing some details to ensure your employees can sign in on QuickBooks time and to transfer time or data to QuickBooks Desktop.

Before an employee can start tracking time, you'll have to invite them to QuickBooks Time. They'll be able to set up their QuickBooks Time account and start tracking time once they accept the invitation. You'll just have to make sure you complete this step first so the employee can use QuickBooks Time. You can click this article to view details on how to perform the process: Add and manage team members in QuickBooks Time.

Then, the employee should then log in using the URL tsheets.intuit.com rather than tsheets.com. If an employee is signing in from a mobile device, make sure he or she has the most recent version of this app, and choose the "log in with Intuit" option.

If the issue persists, I suggest making sure that the employee uses the correct username/password or log-in credential to successfully sign in on QuickBooks time.

On the other hand, I recommend that you use the most recent QuickBooks Desktop and payroll tax table since everything is already mapped correctly. This is to ensure that the time will transfer from QB Time to QBDT and to make your account data up to date.

You may refer to this article to see information on how to fix an issue of QuickBooks Time being non-reactive: I click Clock In in QuickBooks Time but nothing happens. What's going on?.
