quickbooks time

How can I change the settings in quickbooks time. It is perfect on my phone but when I approve time it changes the time to Eastern States Time and splits it as its puts in a break for dinner . I have to delete one entry and put it in myself from the time on my phone.    It is a waste of time approving the time if it cant be changed

Good morning, @JenniH.

 

I'm glad you reached out on this. it sounds as though you may have conflicting time zone settings between your company's settings and your personal settings. Individual settings will trump the company settings causing the changes made on your timesheets.  Here's how to check if these are matching up:

 

First, you'll want to check that you have the appropriate time zone set up for your company. 

  1. From the Admin account, go to Company Settings.
  2. Click Time Options.
  3. Select the correct time zone from the dropdown.
  4. Select Save to ensure your selected changes are saved.

 

Then, you'll want to check to make sure your individual settings match these selections.  Here's what you'll check next:

 

  1. Go to My Team on the left menu from your Admin account.
  2. Click your name you are editing, or, select the triple helix to the right (three stacked dots), and then Edit.
  3. In the General section, select the corresponding timezone to match your company settings. 
  4. Select Save.

yes it has thanks. Didnt realise I had to go to the app on the laptop to do it.
