Password Sign in twice?

Hi- I keep having to enter my password twice to sign in, even when I select the "sign in with Intuit" option. It's a small thing, I know, but it happens to me multiple times a day, and I find it very aggravating. Does anyone have a fix?

Hey there, @Nailer99, thanks for being a part of the Community! 

This is strange, you shouldn't need to routinely enter your password multiple times before logging in.  Let's try some browser troubleshooting to see if this fixes the issue.

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Add Intuit as a trusted site.

I also want to see if trying this sign-in in an incognito browser fixes the issue.

You should try opening a Private Window or an Incognito Window in your web browser. This will open your account in a clean slate and loads fresh data. Here's how:

  • Mozilla Firefox / Internet Explorer: Press CTRL Shift P
  • Safari: Press Command Shift N
  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL Shift N

Once you're in the Private / Incognito Window, go ahead and sign in.


Please let me know how this goes! If these steps do not fix the issue, we can look at some possible other solutions. Take care!

Hi, Jessica- I followed these steps, and still have to double enter my password. Incognito mode has same result

Now that you've determined this was not an issue with your browser, the issue you are having is most likely a known bug that our engineering team is actively working to resolve.
