Quickbooks rounding time incorrectly compared to Tsheets

We have found a huge payroll issue that we are needing help with. We use Tsheets(Quickbooks Time) to track employees time. Once it is synced and in payroll, we have found that the totals are not matching up. For example. We have an employee that makes $30/hr. In Tsheets it shows he worked 40 hours, and once it is synced into Quickbooks, it shows 40 hours. But the Gross calculation for his time is off. He should be paid $1200 gross but his paycheck shows $1199.90. It is ten cents off. Is this due to the Tsheets/Quickbooks time rounding to the nearest minute? It will not let me turn off the timesheet rounding in Tsheets/Quickbooks Time. Quickbooks will not let us change to match Tsheets/Quickbooks Time.

Quickbooks rounding time incorrectly compared to Tsheets

Hey jennacombsTPM,

Nice seeing you here in the QuickBooks Community! With this integration, the timesheet rounding is on by default in QuickBooks Time because QuickBooks Desktop doesn't accept seconds. Therefore, the timesheets have to be rounded to the nearest minute so that time exports.

You're more than welcome to contact QuickBooks Time Support to check things on that end, but since the issue is with the paycheck and how it's calculated, I'd recommend reaching out to Desktop support. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu, then click Contact Us.
  2. Enter your concern in the description field and hit Let's talk.
  3. Choose either Start messaging or Get a callback
  4. Complete the needed information to contact you.

Please let me know how the conversation goes. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to let me know by commenting below. Take care for now!
