TSheets - Resetting Password

Can someone help on how I can reset a Team Members Password??  Used to be able to do this easily before Intuit took over.... now it seems a lot of hassle!!
Can't get hold of anyone to help and the reset email never seems to arrive!

A little frustrated if anyone can help.... thanks

TSheets - Resetting Password

Good morning, @ClareH2020.

Your employee will simply go to accounts.intuit.com, and sign in using their email or username. Here, they can update their password and security information so they can get logged in. 

 

Please let me know if you have additional questions on getting your employee logged in, I'm here to help.

TSheets - Resetting Password

I was able to reset password for one employee but now I have an employee who is getting error message that his device is not compatible with TSheets.  is there a work around?

Great question, @Debi56.

 

Unfortunately this message is correct. If the device is incompatible, they'll be unable to use the app.

However, I do have a workaround! They can clock in using the web browser on the phone.  Here's how:

  1. Have your employee using their device go to Intuit.com.
  2. Click sign in on the top right.
  3. Select QuickBooks Time from the Small business products menu.
  4. Sign in to QuickBooks Time using their normal login credentials, and clock in like normal!

I can’t get a link to reset password keeps going on circles emailing me codes but never letting me into my account or allowing me to reset password

Since you're having trouble resetting your password, I'd recommend checking your browser. It's possible this could have something to do with temporary internet files. Browsing applications store these types of records, but sometimes they can cause issues with certain webpages. You can test this by opening a private window and trying to reset your password again.

 

Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

 

If you're able to successfully reset your password while browsing privately, it's safe to say this problem's being caused by the browser. It can be fixed by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies.

 

In the event this issue continues occurring while using incognito, you'll want to get in touch with our QuickBooks Time care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary. You'll be able to get in touch with them using any of the options available on our Contact page. Also be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
