T-Sheets mobile app stopped working for a couple of our employees.

Hello everyone! Has anyone else run into this issue? How did you remedy this? One of our employees uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and that fixed it. But another employee is still having issues.

My first question is; what do you mean by "stopped working"?

Are users not able to log in?

Are they able to log in but not able to clock in/out?

 

Let me know so we can continue to troubleshoot.

We tried reinstalling, changing password(twice) and employee is still unable to clock in using app. I can manually input his time in T-sheets online. 

Any suggestions? Thanks!

one of our employees is having trouble signing into t-sheets with his sign in. Does he need to reset his password? And how?

Hello @afautomation, thank you for reaching out to us here at The Community, my name is Sherissa and I am happy to assist you today.

 

The user will want to go to their TSheets App

Click on the Forgot Username/Password option

Then they will continue with the steps to reset their password

 

Have them do that and if they are still having issues reach back out to us so we can continue to troubleshoot!

My employee cannot get into the app.  She has changed her password twice and still cannot get in.

When attempting to log in, is she receiving an error? Any details and screenshots you can provide are very helpful!

 

Some things to try:

  • Double-check that she is operating with the newest version of our app.  She can check for updates in the app store of the device.
  •  Have her try and see if she has the same issues logging in via the web version of TSheets. 
  • Make sure she has the permissions to use the mobile app. Here's how:
  1. Go to My Team.
  2. Click on her name to edit.
  3. Select the Permissions tab.
  4. Select Mobile time entry, and select Save.

If none of these resolve the issue, please reach back out with the specific error and screenshots and we can look at other possibilities. Take care!
