The email we received from Intuit Online Payroll advertising TSheets back on September 25th promises "your employees will be able to track time using Intuit Online Payroll through October 31, 2019." However, today is October 31st, and they do not have the promised access. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer support trying to get help. The agent just kept telling me to sign up for the TSheets trial. TSheets would cost us 5x what we were paying previously once the trial is up, so that's not happening and we already have a new system set up--beginning TOMORROW. We based the timing of this system on our pay periods and the email promise that employees would have access to their previous timesheets through today. It feels like Intuit is trying to strong-arm us into using a product we don't want by misleading us and breaking promises.
Hello @ADeutsch. I understand your frustration and apologize for the misunderstanding. I can absolutely see how that wording could be misleading and I will relay this feedback to our team. Unfortunately, at this time, time tracking through IOP is no longer accessible for any customer, but I do want to make sure you have a solution to get you through the day.
I understand that TSheets isn't for everyone and we do not, by any means, want to strong-arm you into a product that isn't the right fit for you and your business. I believe the reason our support team would recommend a trial for today is just to keep you up and running until your new solution kicks in. As soon as you're up and running on your new solution, you can deactivate TSheets and use your new solution as normal. It will not impact your billing at all now, or for the next 6 months.
If you give us a call at (888) 836-2720 we would be more than happy to get you set up quickly and easily to make sure you lose as little time possible.
Once again, I apologize for the unpleasant surprise and inconvenience. We'll do everything we can to help make it right.
