Join nowWhen I try and export my time, I get the following error: "Can't export (MY NAME)'s (MY EMAIL) time, because the user's account isn't found in your QuickBooks Employee List.
My other contractors time imports just fine. I tried the "1 trick" described in other support articles (add a "1" to the end of my name in QBO, then sync in Sheets, then remove the "1" in QBO, and sync again). with no luck. Any other ways to solve this? I am the primary admin and for some reason it can't find my email (which I can see clearly in both my QBO users account as well as my Tsheets.
Brian
I've got you, @FluxLuminous. I have the solution.
The one-trick troubleshooting step is a good starting point to help fix the error. I appreciate you for doing that before posting here in the Community. I want to stop this from happening to you so you can export your time seamlessly.
Ensure that the employee is not archived. This way, you can get rid of the error message and export the time to QuickBooks Online successfully without a moment's delay.
Here's how to check:
If there's another profile with the same name, let's unarchive it so you can see if that one is linked to QuickBooks:
Once done, re-export the time to verify if it's performing well. Ensure to review the Sync report to make sure everything works perfectly.

Thank you for your reply, there are no archived users. My system is really simple, it's just Me, and my one contractor, my contractors hours export fine, but it's My hours that are not exporting.
It says my time connected to my email could not be exported "because the user's account isn't found in your QuickBooks Employee List". I would assume that because I am an Admin/Manager/User and that the same email I use in Tsheets is in QBO that it would work. My personal Tsheets data had been imported from QBO including my email in the first place so it's definitely synced. This error is very peculiar to me.
I’ve got some information so your personal hours get exported, @FluxLuminous.
You can add yourself as a vendor in QuickBooks Online and sync the details to your QuickBooks Time account. Then, merge your profiles. This way, you can completely export your time entries.
Here’s how:
You can reach out to our support team to help you with the sync and merge process.
I’ve added this reference to learn more about tracking time, generating reports, and other tools that organize workers' time: Manage time. It has everything you need to handle time smoothly.

Thank you, I checked, and I was already set up as a vendor with the correct email address. I'm considering just creating a dummy contractor account for myself and using that as this doesn't seem to be working.
Alright, so I added a dummy contractor account for myself using a different email, then once I got it all set up, it asked me if I wanted to merge the dummy contractor account with my main user/admin account and I clicked ok, which seems to have solved the problem 🤷♂️
