Join nowHello,
I am having a real issue with Tsheets moving my start date for my pay period to Wednesday instead of Saturday. I have personally set both start date categories more than once. I have no idea what the real issue could be, but I would figure this is either common and a quick fix or very tedious.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks for letting me know a bit more as to what is going on, @JRH2.
TSheets and QBDT payroll dates will not sync with one another but should match up in both programs. Where are you seeing this change in the payroll start dates? Is this a change you notice in TSheets company settings, or in QBDT?
If you can reply with some screenshots of the issue you are seeing, that would be very helpful for us to take a look as to what is going on. Don't worry, we'll get this figured out!
Hi, JRH2.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. In Tsheets, you can set up your pay period schedule from weekly, every two weeks, twice a month, every four weeks, and monthly. You can read through this article for more detailed information: Set week start day and payroll periods in TSheets.
I've also added these articles about FAQs in Tsheets and how to manage it:

Hello @AileneA,
Thank you for the quick response. I have had trouble getting the time to reply to your answer. Unfortunately, I have a decent understanding of the information you provided already. The issue seems to be that when I sync Tsheets and QBDT my period start date changes to Wednesday instead of Saturday. As I said in the original post, I have manually set the period start date multiple times. I am unsure of why it would reset after the settings have been saved.
Thanks again, hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

@Jessica_young you asked the right questions for me to think all the way through the problem. I looked at the payroll settings in QBDT, and wouldn't you know it - Wednesday. I have corrected the start date and now there are no issues when syncing time.
Thank you!!
It's absolutely my pleasure, @JRH2!
Please don't hesitate to reach back with any other questions! Take care :)
I'm having the same issue. Where did you find that Wednesday was selected in QBDT?
Thanks for joining in the thread, CMac6.
Changing the start day of your payroll week is easy. I'll show you where to find it on QuickBooks Desktop.
