Web-based Timesheets not showing, but showing in APP

Ever since this system transitioned (1-2 weeks ago), I can no longer see *MY* logged time (I'm the owner) when I'm logged in to QB Time on a browser. I can see my employee's time in the browser, but both in the TIME CARD as well as all of the reports, my own time is now shown. Nor is it shown when I run reports.

When I look at existing/entered timesheets through the mobile app, both my time and my employee's timesheets are shown. I can't run project reports from my app, though, so I really need my time to also show in the browser when I log into QB Time - and currently it is not. It's like the app is disconnected from the system when viewing the data in the browser, but only for me - not my employees.

Anyone else having this issue?

Web-based Timesheets not showing, but showing in APP

Hello Bluesmama,

Thank you for reaching back out. There is an ongoing investigation (INV-00281) about iPhone having trouble syncing with QuickBooks Time. Our development team that's working closely with this issue recommends that you sign out of the app and sign back in. This should cause a sync between the app and the web.

If the problem persists, it would be best to contact our Support Team and mentioned the investigation number. You can call us at 888.836.2720 or use our chat feature

Please let me know if you were able to get through. I will be around. I hope you have an awesome day.

Web-based Timesheets not showing, but showing in APP

Hey there, @Bluesmama

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and sharing all of your details with us. I'm happy to lend a hand.

It sounds like you're experiencing some syncing issues. Syncing issues can cause your timesheets to not be visible on the web like the app. Let's run through some basic troubleshooting steps to help get this resolved.

First, you'll need to Get the latest version of QuickBooks Time.

Next, let's force a sync.

  1. Click on your profile bubble in the upper left corner.
  2. Select Last Sync
  3. Touch the two arrows going in a circle to force a sync.

That should do it. Please let me know if you continue having some issues. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your reply.

Take care and have a great day!

Ah, got it, thanks!

When I do that, it shows me that the last sync was indeed July 8th (the day it switched over, I believe!). When I click on the little "sync" circle on the right side of the screen (next to the date last synched), I get an message that says "Couldn't Sync data" and "try again later".

Then it gives me two options at that point: "Contact Us" and "Close". So it won't sync from the app -

Next steps? Thanks!

THAT WORKED! Thank you so much - I was freaking out that I'd have to enter everything manually in my browser!

Appreciate the assist -
