1 of my contractor didn't receive its 1099s (by mail). He doesn't have an email address. What should i do?

I hope you're having a great day so far. You can resend your contractor's 1099 through QuickBooks by mail. This will allow your contractor to get their 1099 even though it'll be later than when they usually receive it. The steps below will show you how:

1. Go to the Taxes tab and choose Archived Files.
2. Select the archived 1099s for your contractor.
3. Press the Print and Mail option.
4. Check the alignment of the form by printing it on a blank piece of paper.
5. If it lines up then click Print. If i doesn't, hit No, it doesn't line up, go through the alignment steps, and then push Print.

Now you can mail the form 1099 to your contractor or deliver it to them in person. I also suggest having your contractor create an email for future tax use, so you can email and mail them a copy.
