I'll walk you through the steps on how to set up your bank account, @haviicmobile.

Here's how:

  1. In your QBO, go to Banking and then select Banking.
  2. Choose Connect Account on the landing page if this is your first time connecting. Or Link account if you've already created one.
  3. Search for your bank. Then, hit Continue. Enter the username and password you use for your bank's website in the window. Follow the onscreen steps to connect. Your bank may require additional security checks.
  4. Take the bank or credit card accounts you want to connect (savings, current, or credit card). You should see all of your available accounts at your bank or credit card company.
  5. For each account you connect, select the matching account type from the dropdowns. These are accounts on your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.
  6. Pick how far back you want to download transactions. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.
  7. Click Connect.

You can refer to this guide for more information: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Once you're connected, you can now receive customer payments. To learn more about it, check out these links:

Hello there, haviicmobile. Thanks for getting back to us.

It could be that the payment is not deposited yet. Funds usually reach your deposit bank account within 2-3 business days of the transaction. It depends on how long it takes your bank to verify and process deposits.

Once you get the payment, the invoice will automatically mark as paid in your QBO account. Also, you can try logging in to your merchant account to see the activity time frame.

For more details, you may want to check this article. It has a thorough explanation of when would be the right time to deposit customer payments. Also, you'll know more about searching deposits in the Merchant Service Center.
