A Daily Recurring Journal Entry no longer automatically creates a reference nunber. How do I fix this?

Hello, @Helvick.

Let's delete and recreate the recurring journal entry. This way, we can isolate this unexpected behavior for possible data damage.

Here's how to delete:

  1. Go to the Gear Icon.
  2. Choose Recurring Transactions.
  3. Locate the recurring journal entry.
  4. From the Action column, click the drop-down.
  5. Select Delete.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.

Once completed, recreate the recurring journal entry. You can refer to this article for more outlined solutions to resolved unexpected behaviors with recurring transactions: How to Handle a Recurring Transaction That Did Not Run.
