Hi there, @Gail25.
Welcome to the Community. I understand you don't want the A/R credits for customers to appear on the A/R aging report.
The best way to remove them is to apply the deposits as a credit to an invoice. Here's how:
I'm adding this article for your future reference: AR Balance on the Chart of Accounts does not Match AR balance on Reports.
For future reference, you'll want to read through this article to learn more about writing off vendor/customer balances to clear A/R or A/P transactions: Write off customer and vendor balances.

I appreciate your explanation, however, I don't want to eliminate the credit from the customer. I am looking to eliminate the negative numbers from the A/R Aging report. On the Filters Tab I should be able to add Amount >= .01; however QB has a note that QB ignores positive and negative signs for this report. Is there another way?
Thank you for your prompt reply. I'll take care of your query about the A/R Aging report.
As stated by @BigRedConsulting above, the option you're looking for is unavailable. What you can do is follow the steps shared by @katherinejoyceO when you create an invoice for the customer that you wish to apply the credits to.
Take a look at this article as well: Advanced troubleshooting for balance sheets out of balance. It's a detailed guide on how you can run custom reports to identify the cause of an out of balance Balance Sheet.
