Accrual Reports not reflecting open receivables

I have open receivables much larger than the difference between my cash basis and accrual basis reports for the year.  All of the open receivables were invoiced this year (no PY carry over).  Why isn't the income difference between the two reports the same as my open receivables?

Accrual Reports not reflecting open receivables

It's nice to see you here, @Contractor Accountant,

If the reports in QuickBooks does not reflect the balances correctly, try to run the Verify/Rebuild Utility. This built-in tool automatically fixes minor company file data issues like the one you see when running reports.

Here are the steps to do it:

  1. Go to the File menu then pick Utilities from the list.
  2. Select the Verify Data. tool then wait until the diagnosis is done.
  3. If there are issues, proceed to rebuilding the company file.
  4. Tap File menu then hover over Utilities.
  5. Pick Rebuild Data then click OK.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to save a backup.

For your reference, see the following link to learn more about this tool: Resolving Potential Data Issues

Once done, try opening the receivable reports and see if the data changes.

Kindly update me with the result. I want to make sure this is resolved and you're able to pull up the accurate data on reports.
