Join nowI have open receivables much larger than the difference between my cash basis and accrual basis reports for the year. All of the open receivables were invoiced this year (no PY carry over). Why isn't the income difference between the two reports the same as my open receivables?

If the reports in QuickBooks does not reflect the balances correctly, try to run the Verify/Rebuild Utility. This built-in tool automatically fixes minor company file data issues like the one you see when running reports.
Here are the steps to do it:

Once done, try opening the receivable reports and see if the data changes.
