Adding Service Income to Billed/Unbilled Hours reports

I have Quickbooks Professional Services 2019.  I need to get reports that shows billed/unbilled hours ALONG WITH the income generated by job/project.

The Billed/Unbilled Hours by Person and Project only gets me half-way there.  What I need is an additional column that totals the persons billable rate on the project multiplied by the billed/unbilled hours.

Example:

Eva works 2 jobs.  Job 1 her rate is $100/hr, Job 2 her rate is $125/hr.  I can see that she worked 33 and 137 hours respectively in the Billed/Unbilled Hours by Person and Project report, but I need the report to also show $3300 for Job 1 and $17,125 for Job 2.

I do have classes set up for each person, but don't think I'm taking advantage of it other than to associate hours to a person when we import time data.

Attached is an example of the output I'd like calculated.

Adding Service Income to Billed/Unbilled Hours reports

Thank you for posting here, @stulk.

QuickBooks Desktop offers predefined reports that you can use. However, the option to add a column for the income to the Billed/Unbilled Hours report is currently unavailable.

For now, you may want to export your Billed/Unbilled Hours report and manually add the service income column through Microsoft Excel.

You can visit this link for available reports you can pull up in QuickBooks. Then, click on the Customize Report button to filter the data and add or delete columns.

You may also check our QuickBooks Blog for new features and upcoming announcements.
