After re-install, Sync with Square does not import transactions

When I first installed sync with square, I assigned it to the wrong bank account when I imported the transactions. I then uninstalled sync with square and deleted all the transactions from both the square register and wrong bank account register. I re-installed sync and set it to the correct bank account, but now, transactions aren't being imported.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know with your concern, gundamlabs.

 

You can no longer add an imported transaction that was already deleted. This is because Sync with Square doesn't allow imported transactions to be re-imported.

 

As a workaround, you can add another Company admin user or yourself again using a different email address. Then, import the transactions under that different user access.

 

Here's how:

  1. At the upper right corner, click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, choose Manage Users.
  3. At the upper right hand, click Add user button.
  4. Choose Company admin.
  5. Fill in necessary information (with the different email address)

The other way of resolving this is to contact our QuickBooks Online Support. They have tools that can  permanently remove the previous Square connection, including its previous transactions.
