You may have set QuickBooks to automatically apply credits to the next invoice you create for the same customer. Let's review your automation settings.
- Go to the Gear Icon.
- Choose Account and Settings.
- Select the Advanced menu.
- Locate the Automation section.
- Remove the checkmark from the Automatically apply credits option.
- Click Save.
- Hit Done.
