Anyone else sick of having to reconfigure invoice templates every time they update this POS software?

That's odd! QuickBooks Desktop never trashes a user's invoice sales form templates. I wonder why QB Online does?!

Hi there, @jet947.

I understand how important time is in your business. Thus, it’s really convenient to have recurring invoices function properly. I'm here to help you fix and ensure you're able to configure and save your invoice template.

I need more details to provide an accurate solution to your issue. May I know which part of the template you referred to as reconfigured? I’d also like to clarify if you’re using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks POS. You can also add a screenshot to help me get on the same page.

If you’re using QBO, you can read about creating recurring transactions. This will walk you through setting up and editing the template.

If you’ve integrated QuickBooks Desktop with POS, feel free to read this article: QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale User Guide. I'm also attaching this page about QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) FAQ.

I've also added this article that you can read to learn how to fix common errors when processing a transaction or accessing the program: Resolve unexpected errors when opening POS.

You can always post a reply in this thread if you have other questions about managing your recurring invoices. I’m just a few clicks away.
