AR Aging Summary Report - editing Columns

I was wondering if there was a way to edit the AR Aging Summary Report to add columns or create a new report that will pull all of the information I need. I am new to Quickbooks and still trying to grasp what all is possible. Thank you in advance for any guidance on this.

AR Aging Summary Report - editing Columns

Welcome to the Community, @Matt115.

For the A/R Aging Summary Report, you won't be able to add columns to the report. You'll have to export the report to Excel so you can edit the information to how you see fit. Otherwise, you can run an A/R Aging Detail Report and add columns by pressing on the Customize Report button at the top-left of the window. Here's a Community Article that breaks down on reporting works in QuickBooks Desktop: Reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

I'd also like to provide you with some helpful links that can help you learn and grow with your program:

AR Aging Summary Report - editing Columns

Hi

I have picked up on this thread as I have a similar problem with the report. My customers with trade accounts are on EOM following which works for the invoices but when running the ageing summary report it only works on days not months so if I run the report today it adds the July and August invoice together under current. This also happens if I try to produce statements for my customers.

Any suggestions please.

Welcome to the Community, @Barenco.

Allow me to share with you some insights to ensure you'll be able to run your report completely.

First, we need to run the Rebuild and Verify as this is essential when trying to repair minor corruption. This is the first step in resolving potential data issues. It also aids in determining if the issue is stemming from the file, or something else.

Here's how to perform the rebuild and verify:

1. From the File menu, click on Utilities.
2. Select Rebuild Data.
3. Go back to Step 1, then choose Verify Data.

Once done, try to run a report. If the issue persists, I'd recommend you contacting our QuickBooks Desktop support.

I'm adding this article for your future reference: AR Balance on the Chart of Accounts does not Match AR balance on Reports.
