Automatically enable attachments to invoices

Hello, is there a way to automatically enable attachments to invoices? We have an attachment tied to each invoice, and rather than go in and click each one individually, I'd like to it to just be automatically enabled if possible - so that when I batch print invoices, each invoice's attachment follows.

Automatically enable attachments to invoices

Good day, JHoff.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I’m here to share some information about printing invoices by batch with each attachments being printed as well.

As of this time, being able to print invoices and its attachments by batch isn’t yet available in QuickBooks Online. What you can do is print the attachments from the Attachments Lists. Here’s how:
1.    Click the Gear icon at the top.
2.    Select Attachments under Lists section.
3.    Select the attachments you want to print.
4.    Click the Printer icon and follow the on-screen instructions.

While we don’t have this option, you can provide us with your insight and opinion by clicking on the Gear icon and selecting Feedback. By doing so, our product team would know what you liked and what we can improve to make it better.

You can also submit your request via this link: https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/forums/168199.

Stay in touch if you need anything else. I'll be here to help. Have a good one!

Automatically enable attachments to invoices

We need to automatically send attachments by default. Currently we have to attach any attachments to an invoice, then check the box to send them to the customer, which is redundant. If I'm attaching them, I want them sent to the customer. Is there any way to make that the default?

Automatically enable attachments to invoices

Hi there, RalphCU.

Glad to have you in the Community today. Allow me to step in and share some insight with your concern about sending attachments automatically by default in QuickBooks Online.

Currently, the ability to send attachments automatically by default isn't available in QuickBooks Online. Adding an attachments needs to be done individually. In this case, I'd encourage you to submit feedback about your product request. This will be sent to the Product Development Team for review when determining features to be added in updates. You can do this from within QuickBooks Online by selecting the Gear icon and clicking Feedback or by going to the following link: QuickBooks Online Feature Requests: https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/.

Feel free to reach back out to us if you have any other concern about QuickBooks. Have a wonderful day.

Automatically enable attachments to invoices

I see that this request was made in 2018. Has the ability to batch print invoices with attachments been implemented?

If not, can you batch print attachments for a selected set of invoices / client?

Hello there, @adminNYC.

I understand how this feature is relevant in accomplishing your tasks inside QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, as I've checked here on my end, the option you're trying to access is unavailable. I want to help you get through this. That said, I recommend sending feedback to our Product Development Team. This way, they'll see your response and consider it for future updates.

Here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Below the Profile column, select Send Feedback.
  4. Enter a brief description of your feature request.
  5. Once you're ready, press Send.

To add up, here's an article to help you manage invoice payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

@adminNYC, please don't hesitate to post here again if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns. It'll be my pleasure to help you. Stay safe and have a nice day!
