Bizarre invoicing issue

I just created a new invoice for a customer that has been in our system for awhile and we have several jobs associated with this customer.  As I was preparing the invoice, I realized that the customer's address had changed so I updated it and saved it as a permanent change.  For some reason, on just the invoices (all invoices for this customer - current and previous - and no other customers), the second line of the address (where the street is listed), is cutting off after so many characters.  When I go to the actual customer, the address is correct.  I have tried deleting the invoice and re-creating it.  I am not able to create a new customer and merge because the original one has jobs under it.  I have tried using different templates - even created a new one.  And this is just happening with one customer - all others work fine.  I'm baffled so I am hoping someone has run into the issue and knows how to resolve it!  Thanks!

Bizarre invoicing issue

I appreciate you for sharing the details and performing some troubleshooting steps to resolve this, @VSWC.

Let me share additional troubleshooting to isolate this issue. I recommend running the Verify and Rebuild tool. Running this fixes data issues in your company file. I'd be glad to walk you through the steps in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac software.

To verify:

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Select Utilities.
  3. Click Verify Data and select OK to close all windows

To Rebuild:

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Select Utilities.
  3. Click Rebuild Data, then select OK to close all windows.
  4. QuickBooks will ask to make a backup before rebuilding your company file, select OK
  5. Simply click OK when the rebuild's finished.

Here's an article you can read for more details in running the tool: Verify and rebuild data in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

In addition to this, I'm also adding this great article that you can use for reference. This guides you on how to make your invoice unique: Use and customize form templates.

You can always count on me whenever you need help. I'm only a post away from you. Keep safe and have a great day ahead.
