Join nowI am trying to get the expense account details in the budget vs actuals report.
For example it runs all of my general office expense as opposed to broken out into each account. I want the accounts (might be called sub-accounts) vs the budgeted amount.
I have gone into customize and filtered, choosing all of the accounts that I want to see but it still summarizes them into the larger headings.
Hey there, @jwbone.
Hope your week has started out awesome. Currently, the ability to customize the Budget vs Actuals Report in QuickBooks Online to show account detail information is not available. I'll go ahead and personally submit this idea to our Product Development team for possible implementation in future updates.
In the meantime, I recommend keeping an eye out on our blog for all things QuickBooks Online.

Is there another version of quickbooks that I can upgrade to where this feature is available?
Thanks for reaching back out, @jwbone.
At the moment, none of our QuickBooks Online versions support this capability. i did notify our Product Development team of your idea, as I know this is something that is important to you and your business.
Our QuickBooks Desktop product does support this feature if you'd like to try it out. You can download a trial from here to test it out. Here's a great resource on customizing reports in QuickBooks Desktop if you'd like to take a look: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop
