Build Assembly Components

I use Desktop Enterprise Wholesale and Manufacturing. I know there isn’t a way to view all of my Inventory Assembly items and their components at once nor is there a report or way to export. So I am looking for a Intuit approved 3rd party application/software that people recommend that can do this for me?

I have a little over 150 items that are assembly items and some have sub assembly items with them and it’s ridiculous that Quickbooks doesn’t have this built in and that I have to click on each individual item and view and or make changes.

Any recommendations?

Build Assembly Components

Thanks for visiting the Community today, MickeyK.

I know how convenient for your business to be able to view all items (assembly and sub-assembly) without clicking each one. Let me share some information to help you move forward.

We know that each business has different needs and structures. That’s why I’m unable to recommend which one to use.

The QuickBooks App Center is a one-stop where you'll find soft wares that are compatible with the desktop program. From there, you can get a comparison of these apps. Then, choose the one that meets your needs.

Also, the Intuit Developer Forum is a place where customers, engineers, and product developers come together to discuss a variety of development topics. I suggest posting this question on their page for further assistance.

I’m adding a link that contains articles about managing products and services in QuickBooks. These resources will guide you on how to perform any inventory activities in the program. Make sure to click on the topic to view the complete information Inventory in QuickBooks.

For any concerns or questions about QuickBooks, feel free to visit the Community again. As always, I’m only a few clicks away for help. Have a good one.
