I can help you update the project to the right customer, @rhonda28.

At this time, the feature to reassign the project to another customer is unavailable. You may need to delete that project and assign it to the right customer. Before deleting the project make sure to take note of all the transactions under it.

Here's how to delete it:

  1. Go to the Projects menu and click on the Options dropdown below the Actions column.
  2. Select Delete

Once done, click on the New project button to start creating a new one.

I know how useful for you to have the option to update the customer associated to the project seamlessly. I'll be sure to take note of it.

For now, you can visit our blog site so you'll be able to get the latest news about QuickBooks and what our Product Care Team is working on.

Also, you might want to read this article to know more about projects: Projects FAQ.
