The Receipts function is working fine. If the app doesn't save or is not able to show previously snapped receipts, make sure to check if the app is updated. This will help the app work without interruptions.
Additionally, you can use the Refresh Data option to download updates or apply recent changes on the application. To do that, follow the steps below:
Click the three dots at the top-right section of the QBO app Home page.
Press Settings then scroll down until you see RefreshData.
Tap Yes then wait for it to complete.
Once done, try snapping a receipt or check if the old items are restored. If it doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to resolve unexpected behavior on mobile devices, and ensure updated security settings are downloaded.
