Can Go Payment send alerts when a transaction has been DECLINED? This is a major red flag when dealing with high volume of customers.

Hi there, enanosanint,

Yes, QuickBooks GoPayment will send alerts when a transaction is declined. Just make sure to use a valid email so you'll be notified.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to you QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Gear ⚙ icon at the right top.
  3. Select User Profile under Profile.

  4. Go to Sign In & Security.
  5. Enter your email and password in the Email address field.
  6. Click Save, then Done.

If you need update the email address, check this out: Change email addresses associated with your account. This link will guide your through entering a new one.

I've also added this article: Why is my customer's card declined? for different reasons why payments aren't accepted.

Keep me posted if you have follow-up questions and I'd be glad to help you out.

Huh, when I go to settings and Alerts the only things that show are "Select Landing Page" and under that "Ecommerce Address Verification".

Nothing else.

Welcome to the Community, @enanosanint.

Since the option to configure alerts and notifications are unavailable on your end, I suggest contacting the Merchant Services Support Team. One of them will be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and utilize specialized tools to make changes on your behalf.

You can find their contact information at the following link: Payments Contact Information.
