Can I connect my quickbooks online account with the self employed or do I have to purchase self employed

If you have to open a new account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular rate.

I'd like to share some information regarding connecting your QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Connecting the online version to QuickBooks Self-Employed isn't currently unavailable. These are two different QuickBooks versions under two different platforms and QuickBooks Self-Employed uses a different style of accounting.
