Can I delete billpay? I do not want this service.

Hi there, jpalumbo.

 

I appreciate you bringing your question forward here in the Community. I can show you how to delete Bill Pay.

 

There are just a few steps to get this done. Here's how:

 

1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Select Account and Settings.

3. Choose the Bill Pay tab on the left.

4. Click the blue Cancel subscription link.

5. You'll be asked why you'd like to cancel, select Cancel now.

Are you having difficulty canceling your bill pay subscription? When canceling your bill pay subscription, we have to consider whether you have pending bill payments. Let me share additional information on how this works.

  • If you have uncashed bill payment checks, you'd be notified through an email so you'd be able to void these payments or wait for them to clear. Once cleared, you can complete the cancellation process.
  • If you have returned bill payment checks, the cancellation of your bill pay subscription will only be completed if these transactions are voided.
  • Lastly, if you have uncleared ePayments or bank transfers, you'll receive an email confirmation of your bill bay cancellation once these are cleared.

However, if you no longer have pending payments but your cancellation was not processed, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. This way, a specialist can securely look up your account's details. Also, they have the tools to further check on the root cause of this concern.

  1. Go to the Help (?)menu.
  2. Select the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter your concern in the What can we help you with? Field.
  4. Click Let’s talk.
  5. Choose to Get a callback.
