Buy nowQuickbooks Online has the following problem: You cannot bulk tag transactions based on their origin bank. The reason for that is that in the transactions page (https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/banking) you can filter by bank, but you cannot bulk tag. On the other hand, on the tag page (https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/tags) you can bulk tag many transactions at the same time, but you cannot filter by bank (!!)
Is it possible to export a list of transactions into excel, add the tag in excel, and re-import these transactions into QBO? (important - I do not want to import them as NEW transactions, but to update the existing ones)
Thanks for checking this with us. Let me help solve your issue, Hosthub.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) only allows manual tagging of transactions. In that sense, I suggest using a third-party application that can help import transactions with tags ready into QuickBooks.
Otherwise, you can visit our QuickBooks App Center to look for a third-party application that can help import payroll transactions into QBO.
Here's how:

"QuickBooks Online (QBO) only allows manual tagging of transactions"
This is not correct. If you visit the tags page in QBO (https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/tags) you can bulk tag many transactions in one click. The problem is that this page does not have a filter per bank.
I will try to find a 3rd party app to do this.
