Hi timothycaison,
Thank you for getting help in the Community. I'll share your feedback with the relevant departments, so we can improve our services. Let me help you out.
I bet this is about your bank transactions. QuickBooks Self-Employed only supports the CSV format for uploading transactions, not PDF. If your bank only offers XLSX (standard Excel file) format, just download it. You can open it in Excel and save it as CSV (comma delimited) so you can use it to import your transactions.
If you're on Mac, please refer to your computer's manual or find some references online.
After creating CSV, you can import your transactions using the steps in this article: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed. You skip Step 1 and Step 2.
Let me know how the steps work for you. I'll be happy to help you again. Take care!
Hey yes its a PDF bank statement. I have called about 4 times (hung up on and left on hold until 8pm) because I was told to convert the PDF to text and sometimes a sales person would do it for me othertimes they just hung up on me. Its really horrible as ive been paying for the service for years to get such horrible customer service.
