Can I get a report on an individual account?

I completely understand the importance of creating a report for a specific account that aligns with your business needs. Please know that QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) does not offer the ability to create reports for individual accounts, unlike QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, you can filter and view transactions associated with specific categories or accounts.

Since you can't directly create a report, you can export the filtered transactions as a CSV file, which you can customize according to your preferences using Excel.

To do this, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
2. In the Transactions tab, use the Type, Account, and Time period dropdowns to sort the transactions.
3. Click the Export icon next to the Search bar.
4. Once downloaded, filter it using Excel according to your preferences.

If you wish to generate a report inside QuickBooks, you may consider upgrading your subscription from QuickBooks Online Simple Start to Advanced. Please review the Plans and Pricing to explore the features included in each plan and choose the option that best meets your business needs.
