Not what I mean. Not the invoice number itself but the order the dates show up in an invoice on each line. If you put them out of date order they show up on the invoice in date order. I don't want it to automatically do that. Just like with tax. I want to put the amount in myself but it will only take percentages to use. I have to stated it in description.
Thanks for following up with the Community about this, klmaytum.
When creating new invoices, or editing existing ones, each line you add for a product/service can be rearranged in any order.
Here's how:
1. Place your cursor over the Grid icon, then left-click it and keep your mouse pressed.
2. Move the line to wherever you'd prefer in your list.
After rearranging lines on an invoice, you'll want to make sure you select the Save button to complete your changes. This will ensure that they don't go back to their original order.
As for a DATE column on our invoice creation/editing screen, there isn't one. You'll be able to find line columns titled #, PRODUCT/SERVICE, DESCRIPTION, QTY, RATE, AMOUNT, and TAX:
One workaround that can be utilized is entering a date you'd like to show for a particular line in it's DESCRIPTION field.
