You've reached the right forum to help you with your sale tax question, @lodgepolestore-g,
All versions of QuickBooks such as Simple Start, Essentials, Plus and Advanced will let you assign one tax code per sales transaction. This is because, the Automated Sales Tax feature determines the rate based on the customer's billing and shipping address on the sales form.
If you want to charge different tax codes to a customer, create a separate invoice with the correct location or custom tax rate. This way the system logs the right tax information when you file your Sales Tax to tax agencies.

Hi @lodgepolestore-g , you could check this out. Comment back, cheers.
I have city tax, county tax, excise tax, production tax, which varies by product, and sales tax. Some of these are calculated off others; City and County tax are added before excise is calculated. How can I get all these taxes on my invoices? Thanks
