Can one person be both a vendor and a client? I have a contractor that is also a client- I hire him and he hires me. I cant find what Ive paid YTD - just what he owes me

You have to spell the name a bit differently, and you have to use the Specific Name for the Specific functions.

 

You buy goods and services from the Vendor name.

 

You sell to the Customer name.

 

Don't get that confused in the accounting.
