At this time, being able to automatically populate the service date and the donation amount on the email sent to your donor isn't an option for us. However, you can manually edit the body of your email so the donor will be aware of  the information on the sales receipt. Please see the screenshot attached to visualize the process.

Hi there, @musicanovaaz.

I here to help share a few steps to be able to populate the service date and amount fields in the Sales Receipt email.

As of now, service date and the amount field are located in each of the line item of the sales receipt created. To be able to include these fields when sending sales receipt you may need to modify the form you're using. Let me show you on how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles under Your Company.
  3. Select the form you're using.
  4. Click on OK.
  5. Go to the Content column.
  6. Click on the center part of the Preview section.
  7. Ensure to check the columns (Date and Amount) you want to show on the sales receipt.
  8. Click Done.k1.PNG

Once completed, the fields/column will now populate on your sales receipt and when emailing it to your customers.

Thanks.  An Intuit tech actually tried some of that while screen sharing earlier today and couldn't get it to work.  I'll look further into it when I have time.

Thanks Angelyn, but while that works fine on the printable sales receipt document, I'm looking for something that will include those fields in the email sent to the donor to my nonprofit.

I'd like to say "The receipt for your [Sale Date] donation of [Amount] is enclosed." The "Emails" tab lets you select the name in the salutation (First name, display name, etc.) but nothing in the body of the message.  Any ideas about that?
