Hello lemonagency,

QuickBooks calculates the VAT/TAX according to the recorded transactions. Importing taxes from a different platform can't be possible.

You can enter the bills in QBO manually instead.

When creating a vendor bill, the system is not applying the VAT even if the VAT box has been checked

Hello everyone,

When creating a bill in QuickBooks you must make sure to select the right VAT rate (20.0%). This is because if you’ve selected NO VAT or Exempt rates, your bill won’t be having a VAT calculation.

Also, selecting a wrong rate can prevent your VAT amounts from showing on the report.

Take a look at this article for more information: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/vat/purchase-vat-overview-setting-up-and-recording...

If you’ve already selected the correct rate but still not having calculations, I’d recommend doing it again on a private window. If it works fine in this gateway, clear your browser’s cache or try switching to another.

The web browser keeps files in its cache and saves the pages you have previously visited. Sometimes these files can affect communication between the browser and QBO and can trigger behaviors like this.

Feel free to let me know if anything else comes up.
