Can we move ALL the data including pictures of receipts, everything from SE to Online?

I am switching from SE to Online but none of the work I did in SE is transferring.  It is only pulling from my bank account for the last couple months.  I only have the downloaded reports for the last couple years of info.  How do I get all that info, (mileage Log, profit and loss summaries, etc) into Online?

You have to migrate attachments data manually. Otherwise, consider purchasing a 3rd party service provider.

Hello, Susan2235.

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks as your accounting software. QuickBooks Self-Employed and QuickBooks Online are two different platforms. That said, by switching your subscription from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online, you have to manually attach your data to your transactions.

Here's how:

  1. In the QBSE account, navigate the Transactions tab.
  2. Select the option to Download a transaction into a CSV file.
  3. Name and save the CSV file.
  4. Import your data by opening the QBO account.
  5. Go to the Gear Icon.
  6. Select Import Data.
  7. Choose Upload file.
  8. Browse to the location of your saved CSV file of downloaded QBSE transactions.
  9. Map the CSV Data from QBSE into QBO.
  10. When you're ready to import, click Let’s go

You can visit this article for more detailed steps: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online

Let me know if you still have other concerns or follow-up questions about your migrating transactions in QBO. I'll be glad to assist. Have a good one
