Thank you for choosing QuickBooks as your accounting software. QuickBooks Self-Employed and QuickBooks Online are two different platforms. That said, by switching your subscription from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online, you have to manually attach your data to your transactions.
Here's how:
- In the QBSE account, navigate the Transactions tab.
- Select the option to Download a transaction into a CSV file.
- Name and save the CSV file.
- Import your data by opening the QBO account.
- Go to the Gear Icon.
- Select Import Data.
- Choose Upload file.
- Browse to the location of your saved CSV file of downloaded QBSE transactions.
- Map the CSV Data from QBSE into QBO.
- When you're ready to import, click Let’s go.
