Can you convert an estimate template to a normal estimate?

Glad to see you here, @dknight1.

You can create an estimate template and personalize the appearance and it's the layout. This way, you can decide what information your customer sees when you send one.

To create an estimate template, here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear ⚙ and then select Custom Form Styles.
  2. On the New Style drop-down menu, select Estimate.
  3. Use the settings on each tab to build your estimate.
  4. Click Done or Preview PDF to see the result.

Here's an article you can read for more details: Customize your invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Once done, you can now select the template created by clicking the Customized button in your Estimate.

Also, you have the option to import your template, here's a great article that will help you out: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates.

In case you'll need to create a template for your recurring template, I got you this article that can guide to through the steps: Create templates for recurring transactions.

You can always visit here and I will help you in any way I can if you have other concerns. I'll be sure to get back to you. Take good care.
