Can you help me with a chart of accounts and a list of vendors?

I'd be more than willing to lend you a hand, anconaa.

What specific help do you need with your chart of accounts? Are you trying to make an account inactive? If so, you can follow the steps below to complete the process.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the account you want to hide.
  3. Select the small arrow ▼ in the ACTION column. Then select Make inactive.

However, if you're trying to delete an account that is connected to the online banking feature. You may need to disconnect the bank connection before deleting it. Keep in mind that you can restore a deleted account, but may need to make corrections to journal entries and balances. If you're unsure, check with your accounting professional before deleting an account.

To disconnect an account:

  1. In the navigation bar, click Banking, and then select the Banking sub-tab.
  2. Select the account you want to delete, and then click its Edit icon, then Edit account info.
  3. In the Account window, select Disconnect this account on save.
  4. Click on Save and Close.
  5. After that, let's go ahead and delete the account:
  6. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts.
  7. Find the account you want to hide.
  8. Select the small arrow ▼ in the ACTION column. Then select Make inactive.
