Can you move voucher descriptions to the left?

I think I saw the answer to a similar question somewhere but I can't find it.

When I print a voucher-style check, the description on the voucher is doesn't start until about halfway across the voucher.

This cuts off the end of longer descriptions.

Is there a way to move the beginning of the description to the left, so that the end of the description doesn't get cut off the voucher?
